These two dumpsters hold the same amount of material, about eight pickup trucks worth. Which one you choose depends on your needs for the project and your available space for the dumpster. Bag light items such as papers, Styrofoam, and fabrics so they don’t blow away. Put them on the bottom of the dumpster as well so they can be compacted by the heavier items on top.
Our dumpsters have a door that swings open. It may seem like more fun to just toss stuff over the side into the dumpster, but using the door makes the job faster, easier, and safer.
Start at the back of the dumpster and work your way back towards the door. This also allows you to distribute the load more evenly for safe hauling.
Our dumpsters have a maximum fill line. That line indicates the limit for safe hauling. Stop when or before you reach it. If the load goes past the fill line, we may not be able to haul it.
